Bruce Festival 2012
Saturday, 23rd Jun 2012The Bruce Festival has become the country`s foremost celebration of our national hero, awakening the drama, heritage and atmosphere of this momentous period of Scottish history, this year it`s on 25th and 26th Aug 2012.
The following events cover the two day spectacular festival:
- Traditional arts and crafts
- Jousting and horseback action
- Battle re-enactments
- A medieval fashion show
- Children`s entertainment
- The ultimate Bruce family treasure hunt
- Food village with the finest local produceMusic and dance
- Jesters, juggling and story telling
- Archery and axe throwing
- Falconry displays
- The Bruce ceilidh and dinner
Activities start from 10am each day
Medieval Village opens at 12pm until 4pm
